Ok - so there are for more comprehensive and enlightening reviews to read about this book that I feel are spot on - especially the one by the dude named Ethan, at least I think it's Ethan. Clearly I am not double checking his name.

I am definitely digging this series so far. The evolution of everything from the 1st to 2nd book was very well done. I love the way that Ghosts were incorporated, as well as Mel. It's always difficult to realistically bring in other paranormal creatures convincingly. I love Sookie Stackhouse, don't get me wrong, but after a while it's hard to introduce different, uh, species in an inventive fresh way. So two enthusiastic thumbs up to this Author for doing that.

But really? 2016, then 2017? The wait is going to KILLL MEEEE.
I want my HEA after some heartache and deep meaningful life lessons learned darn it!

Loved the second installment of this series. This has very easily become one of by new favorites. Ranae Glass gives a nice developing storyline with just enough answers to keep you interested and enough new developments to hopefully keep this series going for several more books.
This second book was not a waste of my time. The characters only get more complicated and wildly entertaining. There was never a dull moment throughout the whole book. I loved the storyline and the new people that came into play. Thanks for another great book. I can't wait until next year to read the next book.A must read.

You can't help but to love the characters and the story line. I cannot wait until the next book in this series is out. I normally do not write reviews but for this series I will at least write enough of one to let readers know that this is an awesome book from the beginning to the end. A must read.
I really liked this series. Very optimistic of the new urban series i come across because there are so many that promise more than they deliver.

This is a great series with a different twist on Vampires (woohoo they do not twinkle) in the sense that they are not dead and are easily combustible. Isabel Stone is a strong lead character who is both beatiful and kicks butt.

I can't wait to read the next installment in this series. I recommend this book!!!
Isabel is looking for a missing pregnant girl, who she knows was murdered, while her life takes on many twists and turns. Some, are good and others are taking her closer to the funny farm. Shane and her relationship becomes more difficult due to unforeseen circumstances. Her other admirers are causing waves. She's stuck literally in the middle of the chaos that her life has become but unaware of mechanisms behind her back. Trust is a beautiful thing but what will happen once they come out?
I really wanted to like this one. Isabel is a likable character more realistic then a lot of heroines out there. However the supporting characters are streotypes and poorly developed. The plot is a disaster. We know the murder almost from the beginning. We have possession by a ghost, and the usual trapped between two guys-both vampires. It lacks the dramatic tension necessary to make it interesting. I read the first because it was free, and paid fort he second because I liked the main character. If there is a third I will not waste my time.
